By accessing or using Hadithne Schools ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Hadithne Storytelling, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including school administrators, teachers and parents.

Paddle is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting applicable taxes (including VAT and sales tax). The final amount, including any applicable taxes, is shown at checkout.
3. Description of Service
Hadithne Schools is an Arabic reading programme for schools. The Service allows schools to:
- Manage classes, students, teachers and terms
- Assign Hadithne stories to classes with story words, a reflection question and reading goals
- Follow participation and reading practice for each class and student
- Invite parents to follow their children's reading journey
The Service measures participation and reading practice. It does not provide a standardised reading assessment or a diagnosis of a child's abilities, and it does not use AI to assess children.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Free trial: Every school starts with a free 35-day trial with no payment method required, subject to trial usage limits.
Paid plans: Paid plans (School and Campus) are billed annually via Paddle. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel. Plans may also be activated by annual invoice or activation code under a written agreement.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each year at the then-current rate unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the end of the current period.
Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, which applies from your next renewal.
Limits: Each plan has a student and teacher limit, as shown on the pricing page.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
A school administrator can cancel renewal at any time from the subscription page. Access to the paid plan continues until the end of the current paid period. Payments are non-refundable, including unused partial periods, as set out in our Refund Policy.
6. Eligibility
The Service is intended for schools and their staff. By accepting a school administration invitation, you confirm that your school has authorised you to manage student data and to contract on its behalf. Account holders must be at least 18 years old. Students use the Service through a class code under their school's supervision and do not create email accounts.
7. Your Account
You may sign in with email and password, or with Google or Apple where available. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Please notify us immediately at hello@hadithne.com if you suspect any unauthorised use.
8. Student Data Responsibility
The school is the data controller for its students' information, and Hadithne Storytelling processes it on the school's behalf only to provide the Service. The school must ensure that:
- It has a lawful basis (such as school policy or parental consent) to enter student names and reading data
- It does not enter sensitive data (medical, religious or disciplinary records) into the platform
- Parent email addresses it invites are correct and authorised
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of school policies
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or disrupt the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Copy or redistribute Hadithne stories outside the Service
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any school
10. Intellectual Property
Hadithne stories, illustrations, and the Service's content and features are owned by or licensed to Hadithne Storytelling and protected by intellectual property laws. The Service grants the school a non-exclusive licence to use the stories with its students during the subscription. The school retains ownership of the data it enters.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hadithne Storytelling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including email delivery failures or data loss. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Statutory Rights
The Service is sold to schools as business customers. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us at hello@hadithne.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days. For billing and payment complaints, you may also contact Paddle directly as the Merchant of Record.
14. Termination and Data Deletion
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. When a subscription ends, the school account becomes read-only and the school can export its data. A school administrator can request deletion of all school data from settings; permanent deletion happens after a 30-day grace period.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings are initiated.
